What we collect today
WellDosed has no user accounts and no tracking cookies. The only personal data we hold is an email address, and only if you choose to give us one on the request form; that is covered in its own section below. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as request times and IP addresses) for operating and securing the site, and these are not used to build a profile of individual visitors.
The stack builder saves the supplements and medicines you pick in your own browser's local storage so they are still there when you come back. That list stays on your device. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it. If you share a stack link, the stack travels in the part of the URL after the #, which browsers do not send to the server, so that does not reach us either, though of course whoever you send the link to can read it.
The request form
If you ask us to add a supplement or medication, we store what you typed: whether it is a supplement or a medication, its name, and your reason if you gave one. None of that identifies you.
The email field is optional and exists for one purpose, which is to tell you when the thing you asked for is published. We will not use it for marketing, we will not add you to a list, and we will not share or sell it. If you leave it blank your request is completely anonymous, and it is still just as useful to us.
We delete your address once your request is closed, and in any case after twelve months, whichever comes first. That deletion is automated rather than left to us to remember. Your address is also never copied into the internal tracking we use to work through requests, so it stays in one place.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out automated abuse. Cloudflare processes technical signals from your browser to judge whether a submission is genuine. It is not an advertising tool and does not profile you across sites.
You can ask us what we hold for you, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing content@welldosed.co.za. Since a request is only linked to you by the address you gave, email us from that address and we can find it.
What changes when accounts launch
User accounts are planned but not yet available. When they launch, creating an account will require an email address, and you'll be able to save supplement stacks to your account. At that point you'll be able to export your data or request deletion of your account and associated data at any time; this page will be updated with the specifics before accounts go live.
POPIA
As a site operating in South Africa, we handle any personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). The site owner acts as the information officer for POPIA purposes.
